Aalu tikki (easy recipe)
Hello guys.
Now we have all the ingredients . Mix all of them together along with mashed potatoes. And make a dough
Aalu tikki is the famous chaat of delhi. These are basically kinda potato cutlet . Very easy to make and taste super awesome. This is something you can find everywhere in Delhi . And there are many different varieties of aalu tikki . Here I am sharing with you the most easy and typical aalu tikki recipe . You can make it in less than half and hour but but but depending upon the quantity.
So without taking more time let's jump into the recipe.
- Boiled potatoes ( I am taking two big potatoes for two people)
- Coriander leaves
- Salt
- Chaat Masala
- Green chilli
- Coriander powder
- Turmeric
- Corn flour
- Red chilli powder
- Roasted Cumin seeds powder
- Mango powder ( Amchur)
- Hing powder ( if you want to)
Now we have all the ingredients . Mix all of them together along with mashed potatoes. And make a dough
1. Put some oil on palm and set the dough. After that make cutlet shaped balls or tikki out of it like this
2. Remember all the spices I have mentioned above are to be used according to your taste that's why I didn't mention quantity because many of you like spicy tikki and some maybe don't like spicy one .
Okay so now heat pan with oil and SHALLOW FRY the aalu tikki keep flipping them so that they can be cooked completely.
